We just passed six solid months of breastfeeding, with the addition of solids in the past three weeks to help Bobby gain weight.
Speaking of which, I really struggle with those growth charts that the MCHN has. We are all made so differently! All four of my boys have been on the petite side of the charts, which, apparently, is a cause for concern.
My dearest Boobies,
Can you believe that we have been together for eighteen years?
I was about fourteen when you started to make your appearance. Most of the girls at school were wearing sports bras or push up bras, but, not us. You lived in little white singlets with cotton like lace shoulder straps.
I sit here staring at Bobby sleeping. As I sit, I inhale that newborn scent and I realise that he is five months old. Five months old! I honestly feel like it was yesterday that we were whisked away for a caesarean section!
“Nursing comfort”… is that even a thing?
Well, I can tell you that it most definitely is! I have quite a big bust. In fact, I’d say it is an enormously uncomfortable 12F. Now, I have found something that makes feeding my baby incredibly comfortable and easy.
What a privilege it was for Bobby (my youngest) and I to be invited to Medela’s Morning Tea at Pullman Melbourne on the Park.
Ever since having my third baby, I’ve developed some serious body issues.
I’m not exactly sure what it was that I didn’t like about my body, but, I was determined to change it all. I felt sick when I looked in the mirror… and I’m fairly sure that’s not a healthy way of looking at yourself!
